Since 1989, Home Plate has been a cozy staple on Lombard Street in San Francisco’s Marina District. From the moment you walk through our doors, we want you to feel like you're in a home away from home, somewhere familiar, comforting, and full of warmth.

We're proud to serve food that’s thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and consistently delicious. What matters to you, matters to us, from the taste and quality of our ingredients to the warm, welcoming service of our team.

We operate on a walk-in basis and do not take reservations.

We’re always happy to hear from you by email to help us prepare for your visit with the understanding that we don’t hold tables. When there is a wait (typically weekends and holidays between 10:00–12:00), we seat complete parties first.

Arriving together, regardless of party size, is the best way to be seated quickly.
